Infinity's digital switching is accomplished with AMTELCO's own XDS (eXternally Defined Switching) PC-based boards. The XDS boards use MVIP (Multi-Vendor Integration Protocol) buses, a standard in the Computer Telephony (CTI) industry.

These same XDS boards are used by developers around the world in custom switching applications.
