MCFARLAND, Wisconsin – August 5, 2025 —Amtelco is pleased to announce the release of version 5.7 for their Intelligent Series (IS) suite of call and contact center applications.
This release includes new features for IS Supervisor, Soft Agent, and miTeamWeb. New features include:
- Role-Based Messaging Integration: Amtelco Secure Messages users can send messages to a secure role or individual contacts. Messages that are sent to a secure role stay within that role and not the specific user so that other users filling that role later will have access to those messages.
- Agent Classifications: Create flexible custom categories, such as Web Agent user, IS Supervisor user, and miTeamWeb user. Each agent can be assigned to multiple Classifications or none. This allows for easy sorting of agents in the Agent List.
- Connections to Multiple Secure Messages Web Services: Enhances the integration between IS applications and Amtelco Secure Messages by sending messages between the IS applications and multiple Amtelco Secure Messages accounts.
- Colored Flags for Message Properties: Assign colored flags to message properties like undelivered, delivered, discarded and other messages to quickly help agents identify important info.
- Rounding and Stat Multipliers: Set rounding intervals when billing for calls and stat multipliers for time logged in the IS database.
- Twilio SMS Integration: Use Twilio as an SMS aggregator to send text messages from IS.
- Protect and Delay the Deletion of Directory Listings: Directory listings can be marked for delayed deletion to be automatically deleted by the system on a specific date. This can be cancelled if needed.
- Mnemonic Keys: Add custom phrases for agents to quickly enter with a keyboard shortcut.
- System Throttle: Limit the number of calls in waits allowed in the system. Additional callers will hear a busy signal.
- Call Overflow: Set a behavior to activate based on the number of calls in the system, or when agents have no available call slots.
