Adding On-Call Schedules to Amtelco Secure Messages

By integrating Amtelco’s on-call schedules with the Amtelco Secure Messages solution, users can send and receive messages for a specific on-call role, such as ‘on-call pediatric doctor’ or ‘on-call technician.’ All messages sent and received by an on-call role follow the role, so when the shift changes, the new person scheduled for an on-call shift configured for Role-Based Messaging sees the messages, allowing them to pick up where the previous person left off. Messages and the message history, including who read the message, remain with the role, not the individual recipients, enabling a smooth transition between staff at shift changes.

Seamless Functionality

Users can choose to send to a specific on-call schedule, on-call shift, or on-call role from the Amtelco Secure Messages app. They can securely send a message to specific individuals filling a role, to everyone filling the role, or to the role itself. They can also choose to send from their name or from the role they’re currently filling.
